Sweat rates and sweat electrolyte content vary widely between people, and drinks containing electrolytes and carbohydrate can help more than water alone in some situations.
Minerals for hydration. Hydrogen on top.
Hydrolyte is the world's first hydrogen-infused electrolyte. Here is what electrolytes do, when they help, and why we added hydrogen.
Water goes further with salt
Electrolytes are minerals that carry a small electric charge, like sodium and potassium. They help control where water goes in your body. When you sweat, you lose water and salt together.
Himalayan salt
Its sodium helps your body hold on to the water you drink. In studies, drinks with more sodium were kept better than plain water.
Potassium
Works alongside sodium in the balance of fluid in and around your cells.
Magnesium
25% of your daily value. Part of it comes from magnesium hydride, which releases hydrogen when it meets water.
Plus five vitamins
Amounts per 4.5g sachet, from the pack.

Made for the days you sweat
Honest note: on light days, normal food and water usually cover what you need. Sweat rates vary a lot from person to person.
The world’s first, and why
Electrolytes help you hold on to water. Hydrogen brings what research is exploring as a selective antioxidant. Together, in one 4.5g sachet, with zero sugar. Pour it into water and it blooms, then dissolves.

Hydrolyte vs a sports drink
| Feature | Hydrolyte | Typical sports drink |
|---|---|---|
| Sugar | 0g | Often 20g or more a bottle |
| Hydrogen | Yes | No |
| Calories | 5 a sachet | Often 100 or more |
| Format | 4.5g sachet, mixed into your own water | Ready-made bottle |
In one study of 72 men, a standard sports drink was kept no better than still water (Maughan et al., 2016).
Ten seconds, any water
Tear
Open one sachet.
Pour
Into 500ml to 1 litre of water. Less water for a bolder taste.
Shake and drink
Drink it fresh, within 15 to 20 minutes.
Electrolytes and hydration
Evidence: Reviews of many studiesResearch suggests that adding sodium to a drink helps the body hold on to fluid, which matters after heavy sweating. Needs vary a lot between people, and for everyday light activity normal food and water usually cover electrolyte needs.
Both drinking too little and drinking too much can harm health and performance, so fluid plans should be based on each person's sweat rate.
Drinks with more sodium led to less urine and better rehydration than a sodium-free drink, though later exercise performance did not differ.
An oral rehydration solution and milk were retained better than still water, while a standard sports drink was not different from water.
Low magnesium can impair exercise performance, but extra magnesium has not been shown to help active people who already get enough.
